Lawd have mercy! Brenda Hampton has done it again! In this second installment to the Hell House series, she turns up the heat, maximizes the drama and keeps the readers on their toes. She enlists the help of some of her most beloved or hated characters from her past novels: Jaylin, Roc, Sylvia, Chase, Jada and Prince.
Day after day, these characters try to survive by any means necessary. Attitudes, estrogen and testosterone fly like you wouldn’t believe. I liked the fact that each characters’ personalities carried over from their original novels into this one. I applaud Brenda Hampton for staying true to the characters even though they are in a totally unfamiliar environment.
