Tiffanie Cooper has it all. A fiance who loves her, all that money can buy and more and pretty much the world is her oyster so why isn’t she satisfied? Living her dream come true, a man who loves her and wants to marry her and live happily ever after, what is the problem.

Damon King loves Tiffanie Cooper from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet and can not wait to make her his wife. He also looks forward to seeing his best friend who he has asked Tiffanie to pick up from the airport and who is also going to be his best man. Not knowing that Tiffanie doesn’t like this man she has never met just based on the fact he was from the past that she felt best that whatever connection they had, stayed in the past.

Trey Johnson, just home after a stint in prison looks forward to not only seeing his best friend but others, to include his grandmother Ms. Irene. When Trey walks up to greet Tiffanie after de-boarding the plane, he has plans for her that will impact not only her but also Damon in ways they never imagined just days before the wedding and lives could be forever changed because of lust and revenge.

This book by Victoria Christopher Murray is a heart thumping page turner that left me breathless. This series is excellent, and I can not wait for the next installment. I was so into this story I felt all the emotions Tiffanie went through and more. She became my friend, and I wanted to talk to her about what she was dealing with throughout the story. This is going to be a great book for book clubs to read and discuss.

I highly recommend you buy this book as I loved it and you will too!
