Angel has a hard decision to make when it comes to donating her kidney. Both of her parents need a kidney to save their lives, but who should get her kidney? Will Angel be able to make the right choice without losing a parent in the process?

I was able to figure out where the story was heading at the beginning of the book. So when the bombshell was dropped, it was just confirmation to what I knew at the start of the book.

Even though I knew where the story was heading, the author did a great job of giving readers a complete story. Sometimes when I’m reading short stories – some authors tend to rush storylines to get to the end. This wasn’t the case with this story.

Overall, Torn is a great short story from L.A. Lewis that I recommend for your reading pleasure.
