Review

Schemes is the title of two stories by these gifted storytellers that had me turning the pages quickly to find out how each gripping tale would end.

In Devil In Sheep Clothing, Karlie Houston needs a pay raise. Struggling to make ends meet is getting old. When a scheme to rob the payday loan office she works at goes south, her new concern has shifted from payday to staying alive.

Twisted Deception has Yazz Armstrong in the middle of two drug kingpins. One who wants her to help him push the other so he can find his weak spot so that he can be the only one. If Yazz does this where does that put her, in the scheme of things?

This was a quick read for me but intense. I love Kiki Swinson who wrote The Score, which I hope turns into a movie because it was riveting. I also love this version of a twisted love triangle by Saundra who I have not read anything by her before now but plan to in the future.

I did find a few errors that hopefully will be corrected before this e-book goes to print as I received an ARC (advance reading copy) to review. I recommend you buy this book as it is very entertaining and I will read more works by both of these authors.
