In the wake of her husband's abrupt and unexpected death, Jené Ray Barranco was suddenly forced to grapple with being a single mother to three grieving teenagers while feeling a deafening silence at the center of her relationship with God. To cope with her intense heartache, she began writing on a daily basis to create purpose from her pain.

GOOD NIGHT, I LOVE YOU compiles those thoughts, and explores with raw and honest prose the author's journey as a widow and shares what she has learned about grief, marriage, parenting, faith, living a meaningful life, and utter dependence on God. Here is a book that will speak to anyone who has ever loved a husband or wife or child.

When the worst thing that can happen to you does, writing about it can have healing power and that is exactly what writing this book Good Night, I Love you by Jene’ Ray Barranco does for anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one.

When her husband of twenty-four years tragically dies in a car accident, Ms. Barranco finds the strength to write this beautiful memoir about her grief and her healing process.

Ms. Barranco is a wonderful writer and I felt “happy” if you will that she allows us to accompany her on the journey to healing. I can not imagine the pain and loss she felt but she takes us through it and you end up being comforted by her words. She is amazing and I would love to meet her. She had a higher power watching over her as that is the only thing that explains how she got through this and does it with grace.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who is dealing with a painful situation, be it the loss of a loved one or any other serious life issue. It is well written, thoughtful and full of encouragement that anyone can use.
