Review

When I was done reading this book the first thing that came to mind was – Why I haven’t been read more from this author? But like Maya Angelou used to say – “When you know better you do better.”

Woman To Woman: Womanish III contains 8 short stories that deals with issues of infidelity, self-esteem issues, love, and etc.

Author Angelia Vernon Menchan does an outstanding job writing situations that readers can relate to. Even if you haven’t been through some of this situations – there’s a strong possibility that you know someone who has been through it. Then as I did more research on this book – I found out the stories were real stories. I’m glad she shared this stories with readers, because I know they are a few people who will be blessed by reading these stories. Author Menchan has not only delivered a good book, but she is ministering to people through this book.

As I read story after story – I started to miss I had a Mrs. Angel that lived close to me There were a few editing issues that I found in the book but it didn’t stop the flow of the stories.

*Suggestion: When a new story is introduced – the title should be in bold print or start on a new page.*

I enjoyed reading this book so much that I read it again the next day.

Orsayors-thoughts

There were so many lessons/aha moments I took away from this book. I listed a few below:

1. You can always try to mask a problem but eventually, that mask becomes heavy which will cause you to lose your grip. Once you lose grip – you will be forced to face your problem(s).

2. Once someone shows you who they are – believe them.

3. Be careful what/who you settle for.

4. We all want someone to love us but the most important person that need love us is – US!

5. The answers you are searching for can sometimes be found from within.
