Review

This romantic suspense offering from Raven Scott was a page turner for me and I can’t wait to get to the next book in the series.

Evan DaCosta AKA as “Ice”  a nickname acquired when he was an agent with the CIA, is now a managing partner with FORTIS, a full solution security firm with over 20 agents, is on his first assignment in Boston leading a team of three agents with the mission of solving a multimillion-dollar jewelry heist quickly as possible.

Nia James, managing director of Worthington Gallery and Auction House is suspect only because she is the only other person besides the owner, who knew when the valuable jewelry was going to be delivered and the only one with the combination to the safe.

Within 12 hours Edward Worthington hired FORTIS and they have a short window to recover the stolen goods. As the investigation gears up, so does the heat between Evan and Nia even as she is under suspicion.

Raven Scott is excellent at building the suspense and romance so those who love this genre, this is for you. I look forward to reading all the books in this series and recommend you read them also.
