Review

There’s no way you can read Seasoned With Grace by Nigeria Lockley and not be convicted. As I read the last page, the song, “I Surrender All” played over and over in my head.

This is a well written and detailed story of compassion, fear, vindication, unconditional love and deliverance. It is a testimony of Eros, Agape and Philos love.

Grace King has real struggles – taboo struggles but with the help of Junell (the BFF that everyone needs), Ethan, Horace and Pastor David, she discovers that Surrendering to God is the Solution. She also realizes that her “Coming to Jesus” moment is all about HER relationship with God. It’s all about seeking the Lord for one’s self and no one else.

Last but not least, this book will leave you with nuggets of spiritual wisdom that will forever linger in your mind and your heart.

“While there’s life in the body, there’s still hope.”
“See the best in the wreck.”
“Healing comes in the fight.”

My Soul is revived, my heart overflowing with love and I am so thankful for God’s grace, favor, and Mercy.

This is my first read from Mrs. Lockley but not my last. This is a MUST READ.
