thicker than water 3

Review

Our favorite characters are back in the finale we all been waiting for.

This green-eyed beauty might look sweet but don’t get it twisted she is as poisonous as they come. Jayde has her eye on a special man & nothing, or no one will stop her from getting who she wants and her connections makes it that much easier.

After fighting like hell for respect, Tatum has finally got what she dreamed about her man and her engagement. Everything is starting to look up for them, but there is always a storm before the sunshine.

Sasha hasn’t been the good girl she is perceived to be, with more secrets than the law allows she is finally trying to right her wrong and get her life back on track. Although she has her man Chauncey by her side, she can’t help to notice the distance between them. Sasha is ready to handle things once and for all.

In this finale, these ladies will have to come together to prove love is thicker than water.

I love the growth that I have seen from Takerra Allen. Her books are like no other. They pull you in from page one and don’t let you go until the end often have the book still on your mind forever. I love the characters and the development of them throughout the series. I can’t wait to see what else this author has in store.

When the Character Speaks: Jayde

Seriously…? You guys want to hear from me? Okay, well honestly, I’m not usually one for interviews—I’m more of a show than tell type of girl—but since I’m going to be letting you all into my life in the newest and final novel in the Thicker than Water series… I mean, being that this is basically my show and I’m going to be shaking sh*t up for 200+ pages… I guess I’ll make an exception.

I love money. Nothing’s wrong with that. I’m beautiful, sexy, and money is my vice. (I may have a few, but let’s keep this PG-13!)

The only thing I love more than money…? Power. I mean, power turns me on. It makes me drip. So a powerful man with money? You can’t imagine what that does to a woman like me.

I knew from the first time my father would talk about Respect that he was the only man alive who could handle a chick like me. A woman of my clout… A kingpin with a queenpin, we’re like a match made in ghetto heaven. The only thing standing in my way is Tatum, this prick of a good girl that somehow has finessed her way into his stone heart. And y’all calling her the main character? Comical. I have the remedy for that, for her. I’m going to destroy…and then conquer. I’m going after what is mine. It’s the only way I know, it’s how I was raised. My daddy was the boss, so it’s only natural I follow his lead. I’ve been doing it my whole life. The world falls to my feet and if they don’t, I make them. And in all honestly, I don’t care who has to pay the price when there’s something I desire in my sight. In the end, I will reign. The name is Jayde Dupree. Trust me, you’ll remember it soon enough.
