My name is Eric Braxton. I’m a successful young lawyer. My beautiful wife is eight months pregnant with our first child. I should be the happiest man alive… right? Well, I’m not. In fact, I’m miserable. I’m miserable because I’m faced with a family crisis that’s more challenging any law school course or case I’ve ever dealt with.
Without going into too much detail, I’ll just sum up this quagmire, I’m dealing with like this: my sister-in-law (my wife’s twin sister is missing). My wife can sense something terrible has happened to her sister. I spent all day consoling my wife – trying to convince her that her sister is fine. But things aren’t. I found my sister-in-law is dead. I haven’t told my wife this news because I’m afraid she could get upset and have a miscarriage. I’m also in no rush to tell my wife because I just found out that my sister-in-law was murdered…by my brother.
