The sound of three-inch heels clickclacked onto the hardwood floor as she sauntered across the stage. A mixed crowd, but the men couldn’t resist watching her confident sway; the women were mentally breaking down the flowing white blouse and nautical style skirt worn with class. One would’ve thought Orsayor was holding a Master Class in Literature, considering the buzz floating about the auditorium.

Taking a seat on a plush highbacked chair, the woman crossed her well toned caramel hued legs, allowing them to hold court for a few moments.

“Good afternoon, Beautiful Ones!”

“Good afternoon!” the audience sounded off.

Pleased with their level of energy, she wasted no time. “So I’m the hot topic today, hmm? Well, you know how I do. Let’s get right to it.”

One by one, fans of the woman stepped to the microphone and asked a question they wanted answers to. She reveled in the attention, but their enthusiasm really made it worthwhile.

“How do I get a man like yours?” a female asked, causing a wave of gasps to come from every corner of the auditorium.

“Oh honey…” the woman chuckled, crossing her legs again for effect on the men. “There’s no formula for that. You pray, be yourself and live your life. I’ve been blessed to have love come back around twice in my lifetime. Keep folks out of your personal business and stop telling your socalled friends what he does for you. The less they know, the stronger your relationship will be.”

She drew both sexes in with her looks, brains and advice. Although Jean Marie LeeMcCray had become somewhat of an overnight sensation in Miami, her efforts to uplift some of the less fortunate communities had been recognized by some of the area’s finest. One of them, a wellknown basketball player that had a crush on her, only to seek her out. Once they met, she told him of her intentions for the city. He promised to do whatever he could to make it happen, of which meeting up with Orsayor Simmons was a beneficial move. She was an avid reader and good friend to him. He knew Jean’s cause for the 4.0 Club would be in safe hands.
