Review

We are introduced to a young girl named Draya. Draya has to step up to the plate and provide for her little brother by accepting a job as a maid. With her brother about to graduate from high school and after being accepted to the college of his dreams, Draya looks for a come up to pay for his tuition. She is determined to get him out of the hood by any means necessary. When Draya is presented with an chance to make a lot of money, she jumps at the opportunity. Little did she know the risks that are involved. She is soon about to be taken on the ride of her life!

If you are looking for a nice quick read, look no further. White House by JaQuavis Coleman starts with a bang and will leave you wanting more. Although it was a short novel, the characters were well-developed, as well as the storyline. I will admit that after reading the previous novel written by Mr. Coleman and being disappointed, I was hesitant in reading another one of his books. I’m glad I decided to take another chance. Mr. Coleman did an excellent job of redeeming himself.

4-stars
