Review: The Buffalo City Czar – James Scott

For Julius Smith there was no aging patriarch of an organized crime dynasty to transfer control of his clandestine empire to him. At seventeen-years-old, he built his Black Crime Syndicate from the bottom, and morphed into the Buffalo City Czar. Set in the late eighties to the early nineties Julius Caesar takes the country by storm and builds a mafia powerful enough to rival the Italian mob and the United States Government. – Amazon

This was a very inspiring story. For someone who came up with very little, this story  just goes to show how hard work and perseverance, always trumps  anything/anyone trying to keep  you down. This book has everything a reader could ask for, romance, intrigue, mystery and well written characters that bring this story to life. I was hooked from the first page and didn’t want the story to end. Authors like this are few and far between, and this author should be proud of what he has accomplished with his writing. I love when an author can deliver such a profound message through their writing. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!!!!
